rêve

These are from a while back.

I saw these scenarios from two different dreams. The first one had a really "Winnie the Pooh" feel. While the next is more of a future-y type dream.

Que sera sera

I'm pretty sure that's not the sun...

A quick digital doodling with pen tablet and photoshop. I was going to put a tornado, but that would take more time...and I only did this to take a break from the drawing gestures. Yes, taking a break from drawing by drawing...that's how I roll.

I feel like doing an post-apocalyptic scenery...

sleepers

I was listening to Gymnopedie No.1, by Erik Satie....and it was raining, and my light bulb was busted. And I just had the sudden urge to draw people who accidentally fell asleep on the couch, supposedly pulling an all nighter.

Yes, specific. I'm very happy with the outcome, though. :)

character designs 1 for thesis

Character designs for my thesis. Little warlock and a fairy. :-) I wanted to do something magical and simple...like, not too magical and too heavily dependent on referencing or talking about the fantasy things. I just want it to be entertaining, and, hopefully, touching.

I'll probably settle in doing this traditionally. Although, I have some really huge scenes in my head right now.... and I'm not very confident that i can do such scenes. But I'll definitely try! >:)

art from colour rending class

First two plates. Poster painting, I think? The flower (yes, it's a plant, not a puppy) is monotonous while the chow chow is analogous. Of course I might be wrong, cause I don't remember anymore. But I do remember hating starting that chow chow. :-\ stupid memories. Although I liked colouring it cause it looked cute and I liked the colours involved. But in reality, it's dirty like fuck.

Colour pencils (sakura). Birds! Birds I say! The yellow one is for midterms, and this magpie that I screwed up... leaves a memory of bitterness. Still, they are quite cute (and fucking colourful), no?

Latest plate. Oil Pastel. Muffin, flowers and doggy. I personally like the flowers best; I think my professor agrees. :)) I hated this the most at first... But I really enjoy it. I like pastels! :D I just hate it when the felt paper is being a bitch, rubbing and all that dirt. Grr.

sketches from last year

* The first one is a self-portrait. But it was a picture of my old hairstyle... I'll post a sketch of my new hairstyle later on, I guess. I tweaked it a bit with photoshop and...voila?

* The second one is a sketch of Bradley James as "Prince Arthur" from the tv series "Merlin".It was especially hard to sketch Bradley. It took three drafts! It doesn't even look much like him, even now. :-(

* The third and last is a sketch of James Franco. I haven't really seen him in any movies or series, so I never knew about him until I sketched him. What made me notice him was his amazingly beautiful bone structure. I mean... it was really nice to draw :-)
